Poynton Plumbers & Gas Safe Engineers was established in Poynton by Jon Kitchen in 1999 and rightly earned an excellent reputation amongst many Customers locally.
Based in Poynton, our Services range from Boiler Replacements and Heating Installations, General Plumbing Maintenance & Repairs (including Small Jobs), to Gas Appliance Servicing, alongside Bathroom Installations, Bath to Shower Conversions, En-Suites, and Shower Refurbishments.
Having lived and worked in Poynton most of our lives much of our workload comes from local clients in Poynton and the surrounding villages of Bramhall, Wilmslow, Adlington, Bollington & Prestbury, Cheadle, Cheadle Hulme, Marple, and Romiley, plus the Fiveways area of Hazel Grove.
Dave Lock
A local boy, I was educated at Poynton County High School, and I lived in Poynton for the majority my early life. Following two periods of work experience with Jon Kitchen – Poynton Plumbers whilst in Year 10 at PCHS, I started with the firm on a full time Plumbing Apprenticeship in 2004, studying for my City & Guilds qualifications in plumbing, heating, and gas fitting at Stockport College.
Since qualifying with flying colours in 2008 I worked diligently with Jon and for the past 22 years have done much to further develop and enhance the firm’s established reputation. Jon commented that my mild and considerate manner serves us well and is popular with many Customers.
Taking Over The Business - Now a Sole Trader.
Following the successes of working in partnership with Poynton Plumbers, the time has come for Jon to retire and I am pleased to announce that I will be assuming control of the business to further enhance the Plumbing & Heating services offered to our Customers.
